Product development by Eurobond on the Firemaster composite wall panel system aims to ease the responsibility that will fall on specifiers and building users when the new Fire Safety Regulations come into force.

Unlike sandwich walls constructed with oil-based foam cores, Firemaster has a mineral fibre (Rockwool) core that provides a non-combustible, smoke-safe and high performance passive fire protection.

The system has been designed as a non-loadbearing, cost effective solution for internal walls and partitions. Its mineral fibre core means fire ratings from 60 to 120min can be achieved. Panels have acoustic and thermal properties and are environmentally sustainable.

The company says the system is particularly suited to providing fire resistance and compartmentation in factories and storage facilities.
