RPE services

Breathe Safety Services offers a range of services to clients with respiratory equipment.

These include the service and maintenance of equipment from most manufacturers, air quality testing of compressed air, training for all types of equipment, face fit testing of respirators, and RPE surveys and supply of equipment.

A recent client is BAE Systems in Bridgwater where employees are protected from hazardous materials by a range of PPE, including selfcontained breathing apparatus, escape breathing apparatus, airsupplied hoods, full face masks and gas tight suits.

Factors such as the quality of the compressed breathing air and the servicing of a cylinder charging compressor were addressed by the company, in addition to the regular servicing requirement of the RPE.

The company was using different service providers. Now, a single source – Breathe Safety Services – maintains all the RPE on site on a monthly basis.
