Senses gas
July 1st 2005

Providing continuous detection of up to five gases simultaneously, the Draeger X-am 7000 brings a flexible solution to individual monitoring tasks.

Using a combination of more than 25 sensors, it enables the detection of more than 100 toxic and combustible gases and vapours, as well as oxygen, and can be used in all areas of industry.

Incorporating DraegerSensors to ensure a fast response time with minor cross sensitivities, high accuracy and long life (typically 5 years), it can be equipped with three electrochemical and two catalytic bead or infrared sensors.

Each sensor is pre-calibrated and recognised automatically by the instrument. This means the Xam7000 can be reconfigured simply by changing a sensor.

The search for leaks in flanges, shut off devices, and so on, has been simplified by the addition of a flexible gooseneck probe.
