Free-cooling September 1st 2005 Airedale has extended its range of energy efficient, free-cooling scroll chillers. The 160 to 450kW range of Ultima Compact Free-Cool Chillers (UCFC) combines, in a value-formoney package, larger capacity and the benefits of scroll compressors.
There are 15 models in a choice of super quiet, quiet and standard variants. All are designed to provide enhanced cooling performance, energy efficiency and lower life cycle costs. Up to six stages of cooling enable capacity control to precisely match the application.
Free-cooling is given priority when available, with the compressor used as top-up cooling when free-cooling cannot totally satisfy requirements. The UCFC is said, typically, to save 35% of the energy consumed by a conventional air-cooled liquid chiller. More articles from Airedale International Air Conditioning Ltd: |
