Highly flexible September 1st 2003 The BAE Systems factory in Brough, recently awarded a contract to build 20 Hawk jet fighters, is now heated by an energy efficient air induction system from Nordair, following a heating decentralisation project.
Engineering consultant Paul Hailes of Combined Energy Solutions, says The construction of the Nordair unit and burners is excellent and, most importantly, the flexibility of the air induction system to vary the airflow and temperature out of the discharge nozzles that are linked to each unit was ideal for the sites diverse requirements.
Three Nordair indirect gas-fired air handling units were installed in separate buildings and have proved easy to control and highly effective. More articles from Nordair Niche: |
