Lox nox burners installed

Fully modulating low nox Europa burners from EOGB have been used on two Viessman Vitomax replacement boilers at the Sun Centre leisure complex in Rhyl. Tight deadlines meant the work was carried out in just 31 days, and at 10% below the budget.

The Centres theatre and pool areas require a mix of constant and variable temperatures for heating and air-handling units, pool water heating and DHW.

Control flexibility is a top priority, and the control system was improved to take full advantage of the modulating Europa burners on the new boilers. Refilling the pool and warming the water for example, takes a week and can require the combined output of both boilers.

The Europa series offers outputs from 80 to 3500kw in gas, and from 60 to 4000kw in oil and includes one-stage, two-stage, fully modulating oil and gas, dual fuel and low nox options.
