New Heaters
January 1st 2006

Powrmatic's new VP range of gas-fired cabinet heaters each have two burners and heat exchanger sets offering 2:1 turndown as standard.

Modulating and high/low burners are available as an optional extra to give a turndown of 4:1, better control of space temperature and reduced energy consumption.

The VP heater has a combustion efficiency of 92% and is included on the Energy Technology List.

Its air distribution system uses axial fans to deliver high volumes of air at low velocity, a concept that has been used by Powrmatic as part of its Powrmaster air rotation programme. It is said to result in a lower leaving air-temperature than traditional air heating appliances, reducing stratification, optimising heat distribution and saving energy.
