University challenge January 1st 2006 When underground pipework failed at Bristol University, it needed help to maintain its heating.
The emergency solution provided by Watkins Hire comprised a 350kW LTHW Heatgen mobile packaged boiler plant and bunded fuel tank. Boiler and plant were delivered within hours of the initial call being received.
Watkins Hire engineers installed pipework for the flow and return lines to the client's pipework, and the M&E contractor connected the electrical supply - all without disruption to the University.
