32M WIDE LOADING BAY CANOPY

CopriSystems has installed a 32m wide loading bay canopy at MFIs national distribution centre in Northampton. Although several canopies have been installed at MFI sites around the country, it is the first one of this size.

Providing environmental protection, the canopy has improved working conditions for staff and enables deliveries to be unloaded regardless of weather conditions.

It is located at the receiving end of the operation and is attached to the main warehouse covering four large roller shutter doors. The canopy has been kept open at the front for ease of vehicle access.

Measuring 32m wide, 22m long with a central height of 9m, the dome-shaped canopy has no central column allowing free movement throughout.
