The latest range of straight-sided Romney buildings from Severn Valley are becoming widely used on construction sites to provide spacious, economical accommodation for canteen or office use, as well as the more traditional storage and manufacturing applications.

The 11m span building pictured above is 30m long and has glazed windows. It is used to provide light, airy and comfortable canteen facilities for a number of construction workers on major projects.

Traditional semi-circular Romneys are still available and, together with the new, straight sided models, there are now more than 20 basic types, available in 2.5m modular bay length and in widths from 5 to 25m.

Strong, yet light in weight, Romneys are available on short lead times due to their standard design. Quick to assemble, the need for heavy foundations is eliminated and they can be moved easily once a project is completed.
