Temporary solutions
May 1st 2008 Spaciotempo's ability to
provide extra capacity and
flexibility, on time and on
budget, has resulted in it
being asked to supply a
fourth temporary unit to
Swift Group, manufacturer
of touring caravans, coachbuilt
motorhomes and
family holiday homes.
Based in East Yorkshire,
the plant now includes
1575m2 of temporary space
supplied by Spaciotempo.
This includes a specially
designed 675m2 valeting
area with all-round access,
providing adequate space
for the servicing of up to 20
caravans.
Subsequently Swift
ordered two 10m x 20m
temporary buildings to use
for furniture storage and as
a workshop.
More recently a 5 x 10m
unit with three wall panels
was installed to extend a
permanent building. With
steel reinforced UPVC cavity
walling and double-skinned
air filled roofing system to
assist climate control, the
aluminium framed structure
was installed and
