Two relocatable buildings November 1st 2005 Bathroom manufacturer Ideal Standard has bought another Rubb relocatable building to meet its rapidly expanding storage requirements.
The manufacturer has eight plants throughout the UK. When it required additional storage in 2002 a 12 by 30m Rubb THA shelter was purchased and erected at its Hull plant. Pleased with the product, its price and flexibility, the company ordered another THA shelter measuring 12 by 42m.
Speaking for Ideal Standard, project manager Neil Owen, says "Bathrooms these days are a fashion business and flexibility of supply has become a customer demand for us, especially in our 'Jewellry Box' sites like Hull and Middlewich, that are producing high design products to, almost, one-off order.
"The flexibility of storage that the THA shelter provides enables Ideal Standard to better satisfy the needs of the market, especially when new trends and new ranges have to be catered for." |
