Multi-stage July 1st 2005 An automated component cleaning machine from Turbex is used to clean engine components at Parker Filtration’s plant in Dewsbury.
To meet the cleaning standard required, Turbex developed a multi-stage process that included TurboSonic cleaning technology, a combination of ultrasonics and jet turbulation all in the same tank.
Liquid filtration, using Parker filters, is used extensively and parts are automatically dried using a hot air recirculating oven.
Parts are transported on specially designed jigs, also from Turbex, and input and output conveyors are powered with the entire operation controlled by a multi-programmable PLC. The machine is from the Turbex Finnsonic Crystal range. More articles from Turbex Limited: |
