Wipe out Weil's disease November 1st 2005 Mykal heavy duty hand cleaning wipes (DSI 4000HDW) have undergone further microbiological laboratory tests that have shown them to be effective against Weil's Disease germs (Leptospira Interrogans) at much shorter contact times than previously tested.
The new tests showed that the wipes effectively killed off the Weil's germs on contact times of 1 and 5 minutes, and no new germs were found to have re-grown following six weeks of incubation.
Weil's Disease is a potentially fatal illness caused by contact with rat urine - a genuine hazard for utility contractors, public service workers and anyone else who regularly works in ditches, trenches, sewers, cellars or anywhere else that rats may be found.
Mykal heavy duty hand cleaning wipes combine a dual textured wipe with a powerful hand cleansing solution. On one side a textured abrasive quality allows for the efficient removal of oils, greases, adhesives, sealants and inks, while the other side is smooth and designed to absorb contamination.
The low lint, heavy duty nature of the wipes means they will not tear or disintegrate, even in extreme use. Each wipe is said to contains the optimum amount of cleaner to leave hands clean, dry and moisturised. More articles from Mykal Industries Ltd: |
