British Turntable says that it has strengthened its BTI engineering team with the appointment of Steven Spanner to project engineer. Steve will now be working on industrial applications for the company's range of mechanical movement solutions and joins the team immediately after being made redundant from Sandusky Walmsley upon the company's announcement in September that it was going into liquidation.

Steve's specific contribution at British Turntable is expected to involve major or complex industrial projects such as the installation of turntable divisible auditoriums (TDAs) revolving restaurants, people-movers and heavy-goods access revolvers.
