Aqueous spray cleaning system

A high priority when cleaning machined components is to manipulate them in such a way that critical areas such as deep galleries are flushed through properly.

For Finnveden Powertrain Components, a first-tier supplier of connecting rods and valve actuation components, this has meant installing in its Lincolnshire premises a MAFAC aqueous spray cleaning system from IB Industries.

The addition of fine filtration to the system has ensured a low particle count, important when supplying to the automotive industry.

The compact MAFAC SF 60 40 system measures 900mm by 1500mm by 1200mm and has been designed to provide the optimum process speed and reliability.

All models have MAFAC machine control that combines an easy-to-use operator interface with a plain text display, enabling cleaning programmes to be configured quickly.
