Improved air
September 1st 2005 Since installing an OMF 1000 mist and fume collector from Air Cleaning Systems to its Citizen C32 CNC automatic lathe with coolblast, Leaside Turned Parts of Ware has noticed an improvement in the quality of respirable air, both within the machining enclosure and in the vicinity of the machine.
The freestanding air cleaner has twostage filtration system. Stage one is a high efficiency cartridge filter that entrains mist particulate and allows the collected oil to drain from the filter into the sump of the unit and back into the Citizen for re-use. Stage two comprises a HEPA filter with an efficiency of 99.9%. clean air is returned to the machine shop. More articles from Air Cleaning Systems Ltd: |
