Helps boost speed and precision in blast cleaning September 1st 2006 A Guyson Euroblast system is designed to help users achieve high levels of precision, speed and efficiency in many industrial blast cleaning or finishing operations.
The company says that the blast equipment provides a faster alternative to labour intensive operations such as hand demurring, scraping and wire brushing, chemical cleaning, acid etching, liquid honing, knife trimming, sanding, grinding and many others.
Guyson blasting uses compressed air to propel blast media directly at the component through a specially designed blast gun. These clean, safe operations are housed in an illuminated cabinet from which dust is constantly removed and the blast media recycled to provide a continuous cleaning and finishing system.
There are two types of Guyson Euroblast installation, each capable of using a wide selection of blast media at alternative pressures: low enough to blast delicate parts and high enough to handle demanding cleaning and finishing operations.
Suction feed cabinets are generally selected for light-tomedium production requirements, while pressure feed versions can be used to remove tough, hard scale and deposits, such as those in hard-to-reach recessed areas and complex shapes. More articles from Guyson International Ltd: |
