Rapid parts cleaning
July 1st 2006

Landa's range of automatic part washers cope with components that are small as nuts and bolts or as large as entire engines.

The recently introduced Landa SJ is a front loading, solvent-free automatic parts washer featuring a spinning jet spray bar propelled by water. As it is water-propelled, there is no need for high maintenance parts such as transmissions, electric truntable drive motors, gears and brushes. While conventional washers rotate the components in a basket, the spinning cleaning-jet action ensures that parts are blasted up to 200 times per minute using multi precision spray nozzles. The strength of the cleaning action is further strengthened by the adjustable spray arm, which means that the cleaning sprays can be placed within 25cm of the parts, or wherever it is most effective for the size and shape of components.

It has a small footprint due to its swivelling door, which does not open out into the shopfloor, saving up to 16sqft of space. There is also an optional bag filter, which collects solids from 10-150 microns in size adding life to the cleaning fluid.
