Coolant role
May 1st 2005

Westfalia Separator uses its separation technology as part of a fluid management process to condition coolant to remove tramp oil, swarf particles, and bacteria.

This protects the working environment from odours and possible bacterial attack, saves money by reducing tool and coolant costs, and helps maintain product quality.

The Westfalia OSD2, for example, is a self-cleaning separator that has all product contact surfaces made from stainless steel. It is believed to be the only separator of its size that can be fully sterilised after use.
