January 1st 2007 Ficep UK has supplied steel stockholding firm, John Chorley & Company, with a Ficep 1045 LBH CNC cutting line for use in its new warehousing facility in Warrington, as part of a £1.5m investment to streamline the company. This machine brings the number of on-site saws to four, offering processing facilities for all mitred or square cut requirements, in addition to 5000t of general steel sections that are available ex-stock. The company's major requirement was the ability to cut very large steel sections with speed and accuracy. Terry Shanahan, managing director, says "I am very happy to report that the Ficep 1045 has given us the edge, which we needed to succeed and further grow our business.
