High accuracy
September 1st 2006 A Striebig vertical panel saw supplied by T.M. Machinery Sales, has improved cutting accuracy and reduced processing time at solid surface fabricator, Solidity.
The company produces bespoke wet room floors and shower trays, kitchen tops and vanity trays, using 12mm thick LG Hi-Macs acrylic solid surface material. Components have to be accurate when cut in order to produce a seamless, waterproof edge. The Streibig control module 5168 works to an accuracy of 0.1mm, handles panels of up to 4300 by 1680m, and has a cut depth of 80mm.
