system from ESAB Cutting
Systems has enabled a building
component manufacturer to
produce small batch sizes of 100 to
200 pieces economically and to
undertake customised projects. It
has also enabled most of the cutting
services to be brought in house.
An Eagle guiding machine,
cutting table, controls, software
and a plasma system have been
harmonised so that absolute
process control is guaranteed.
The ESAB plasma cutting head
PT-24 is used for plate thicknesses
in the range 1 to 15mm; the PT-600
copes with thicknesses to 30mm.
At the core of the system is an
ESAB EPP 200 which permanently
supplies 5 to 200A power. It enables
