An Esab Automation Suprarex SXE-P 4000 profile cutting machine is equipped with two 3000 by 6000mm cutting areas and has the latest Vision 55, Windows XPbased CNC controller with automatic parameter settings for both gas and plasma use.
Also included are: a Kjellerg HiFocus 160i high quality plasma system to provide a laser cut quality, Cooljet technology to enable faster cutting than traditional burners; and a Kemper fume extraction to endorse the company's environmental commitment.
IMS (UK) has also invested in new overhead cranes to allow for an extra 20t of lifting power and new vacuum lifting equipment
