Refurbished plasma cutting machine developed
March 1st 2007 As a cost-effective alternative to investment in a new cutting machine, ESAB Automation has refurbished a Suparex SXE-P plasma cutting machine. All the critical components of the original machine have been renewed in order to enhance performance, safety and accuracy. All mechanical bearings, control panels, co-ordinate drive mechanisms, cutters, posts and gas hoses have been replaced and ESAB's proven and easy to use NCE 510 CNC control has been retrofitted. The result is an advanced precision plasma cutting machine available for much less than a brand new machine. The refurbished Suprarex SXE-P is a single headed plasma machine using a MAX 200 plasma system. It has a 3 metre by 6 metre extendible cutting table. Cutting and positioning speeds are up to 2400metres/minute and collision protection is included on the plasma torch to avoid damage. More articles from ESAB Cutting Systems: |
