It was good news for Huntingdon Fusion Techniques at the annual American Welding Society Exhibition. The lead engineer for the Bechtel/Bioku Island LNG project in Equatorial Guinea walked onto the stand of Cob Industries, HFT's US distributor, and presented a $95,000 order which included a large number of Argweld Quick Purge Systems.

Bechtel is one of HFT's largest and most regular customers having used Argweld Quick Purge systems on the Sabine Pass LNG contract and many other stainless steel pipework related projects. Bechtel engineers refer to the company as 'the weld purge guys'.
