January 1st 2007 Northern Precision will be using the Southern Manufacturing & Electronics show (7 and 8 February, Thorpe Park) as the UK public launch pad for the LCM Prima Inserter self-clinch sheet metal fastener installation press. Acting as European agent, Northern Precision, a singlesource supplier of fasteners and specialpurpose turned and coldformed parts, says the machine, which has a 6t rating, allows fasteners to be inserted easily into box- or C-type work-pieces and will accommodate materials from 0.5 to 6mm thick.
