Rivettingly easy for the operator July 1st 2008 The Bifurcated & Tubular Rivet
Company has added the
Orbital Spin Riveter to
its range of
manufacturing
solutions. It operates
virtually noiselessly,
claims the company,
and can perform a
variety of tasks. With
suitable tools it can
flare, flange, join or
swage.
The company says
spin riveting is quieter
than general impact
riveting and tool changes
and set up times are faster.
The Orbital Spin Riveter can be set
up in less than 5min. The company
says training is easy.
The timing adjustment and
force and stroke length of the
riveter is precise and stepless,
to give high quality results with
the minimum of operator skills.
Additional tooling enables
easily repeatable settings for
multiple applications on the
same machine.
The Orbital Spin Riveter is
rigid and suitable for single, multipoint
or multi-spindle applications
for fast, effective spin
riveting with precise
control and gentle
deformation. Tooling is
available carbide-tipped. More articles from Aylesbury Automation Ltd: |
