Coiled spring PIN additions

Additions have been made to both the metric and imperial standard coiled spring pins available from Spirol Industries.

According to the company, the extra lengths and diameters, together with improvements in performance duties, make the range the widest available from any supplier in terms of size and material range. Spirol also offers ranges of special coiled spring pins, including headed, flared, extra light and super-flexible versions.

Features include a pin design that eliminates pin nesting and interlocking, uniform distribution of compression and stresses during installation, flexibility under loading to absorb and withstand stresses, shock or vibration.

The flexibility of the coiled pins is said to dampen shock, eliminate hole damage on all assembly components and extend product life.
