Compact cnc machine tools

In August of this year Bletchley-based K+K Specialised Engineering moved into new premises to accommodate additional CNC machine tools and allow for further expansion.

K+K has invested in two new compact vertical machining centres supplied by XYZ Machine Tools. These are installed alongside an XYZ Mini Mill 560 that K+K has operated for several years. For urgent batch production, all three machine similar components, with the cycles phased so the operator can tend each machine in turn.

Suited to the type of work and batch sizes undertaken by K+K, the XYZ Mini Mill 560 boasts a compact VMC configuration capable of machining a wide range of components within a very small machine footprint.
