A contractor when faced with the task of removing flood-damaged epoxy paint from an electrical sub-station floor, prior to recoating hired a vacuum type, dust free blast cleaning machine. This proved to be inefficient but following a meeting with an engineer from USF Surface Preparation, they tried a USF Blastrac hand-grinding machine. The difference was amazing said a spokesman. We could clean about 10 times faster and reach into tight corners plus the finish was superb, ideal for recoating. BGV 180MM machines are for removing or etching adhesives or coatings and for levelling uneven surfaces. They weigh 5kg.
