For static November 1st 2006 The latest static generator from Meech International can be used in either constant voltage or constant current mode to generate a controlled level of static charge that will create a temporary bond between materials, one of which must be insulative. The addition of constant current mode allows the performance of the Model 992v3 to be optimised for a variety of applications and a diverse range of materials. The result is said to be maximum pinning effect without the risk of overload. Designed with a constant voltage output range from 0 to 30kV or a constant current output that is adjustable between 0 and 500µA, the easy to set-up Model 992v3 is available in negative or positive output polarity versions.
