Model 42 from Surtech will produce accurate, smooth chamfers on large parts that because of size or weight cannot be worked on in any other way. This powerful portable chamfering tool can be set to chamfer widths between 0 to 3mm. A 45 V-guide helps with the alignment, leaving the operator simply to push the machine along the edges. A 0.65kW electric motor drives a 30mm dia milling cutter at 11000rpm. At 2kg Model 42 is easy to work with over long periods. A side handle facilitates guiding the machine. Noise is below 70dBA.
