turned to Mac'Ants Group to provide
a mobile blast room facility that has
simplified operations on site and
dramatically reduced processing time.
Mike Netherwood, refurbishment
supervisor for the Turbine Support
Group, says: "Our reputation has been
built on the ability to refurbish a
range of turbine components, from
small bolts and cooling pipe work to
steam chests and turbine diaphragms.
With this latest addition to our
capability, we can now undertake all
of this work at a customer's site,
eradicating significant transport costs
and the need for external processing
operations. Not only are we able to
deliver excellent quality results with a
very convenient system, but we can
also help minimise outage times
which, as is well understood, is a key
