OK OR NOT OK? May 1st 2005 An air-operated HSD hand screwdriver from Weber Automatic Assembly Systems is used in conjunction with a signal box that evaluates the ‘OK/Not OK’ signals from the screwdriver to maintain maximum effectiveness of the fastening process.
Monitoring of OK signals ensures that the correct tightening torque and/or revolutions (screw depth), are reached at each fastening point. It also ensures that correct screw counts are achieved, even in variable count situations to ensure that all individual fastening points are evaluated as OK.
Signal box monitoring is also available on the Weber stationary screw spindle units (models SA03/10/30), that incorporate automatic feed. More articles from Weber Automatic Assembly Sys.: |
