Precise illumination
May 1st 2005 The latest machine lights from Waldmann Lighting combine LED technology with a gooseneck mount to give precise and powerful machine tool illumination.
The company says that, compared to alternatives such as halogen spotlights, its LED technology gives a compact and powerful light source that emits no heat, can withstand constant flushing with coolant, is not vulnerable to damage from chip impacts and gives up to 50 000h of maintenance-free service life. The unit’s small size and robust design mean that it can be mounted next to the workpiece; the addition of gooseneck mounting enables powerful illumination to be provided exactly where it is needed for safe and error-free tool and workpiece setting.
