Press expands production capacity January 1st 2011 Responding to a steady increase in
customer demand, James Walker
Keaflex has expanded its production
capacity with the acquisition of a 350t
compression moulding machine.
The new upstroke compression
moulding press will enable the
Hampshire-based elastomer
engineering company to cut lead
times, as well as allowing it to
produce up to 30% larger threedimensional
mouldings.
James Walker Keaflex's activities in
the design and production of
elastomer mouldings range from
product design and process
engineering, through to prototype
and full production. They are based
on its extensive knowledge of rubber
and plastics moulding and
machining techniques, including
rubber to metal bonding. More articles from James Walker Keaflex: |
