Slim guards

Balluff has expanded its programme of safety products with the Linesmart range of photoelectric guards. These safety category 4 products are believed to be among the most compact housings available (12 by 20mm.) Linesmart is available in 14 and 30mm resolution (for finger and hand protection). At up to 5m range it is powerful, yet response time is just 50ms. The software package included allows easy set-up, even down to individual beam level.

The system is suited to compact applications where two or more guards are in close proximity. The multi-scanning system means mutual interference will not occur.
