Slitter-rewinder solution

Diamond Group has announced that its Process Engineering Division now offers a slitterrewinder solution specifically developed to accelerate the slicing and re-wrapping of extruded film. "As anyone involved in the manufacture of shrink wrap film will appreciate it is absolutely essential to use rewinder technology capable of maintaining a consistent film tension," says John Edwards, Diamond Engineering Director. "Developed following our recent incorporation of Keal Engineering Technologies, the Diamond Slitter- Rewinder offers a proven capability to precision cut and re-wrap 3m cones of extruded film at the highest speed." Already purchased by three manufacturers, and requiring only one machine operator to oversee the processing of a 500kg film log, Diamond Slitter-Rewinder is said to offer simple set up and programming, as well as comprehensive safety features.
