battery springs were among the
products launched by Lee Spring at
Southern Manufacturing in February.
Battery springs provide fast,
efficient and reliable contacts in
applications where portable power is
required, for example, in battery
compartments. Beryllium copper,
one of the strongest and most hard
wearing copper alloys, is said to
improve the spring's physical
properties, while a silver coating
enhances electrical and thermal
conductivity performance. Lee
Spring says this is raised to 65 to
