Turret mill power
September 1st 2007 Braithwaite has a new machine
division, Braithwaite Mill Power.
With construction based around
meehanite castings for extreme
rigidity, and with hardened and
ground slideways featuring Turcite
linings for low wear and friction, the
machines also have handwheels
for set-up and teach modes to
complement the Acu-Rite MillPwr
control systems from control and
measurement specialist ACI.
"The intuitive two-/three-axis
MillPwr is a conversational system
that requires no previous CNCexperience and it can be used
either as a full-function DRO or as
a programmable CNC," says Terry
