Waterjet start-up solution September 1st 2004 For smaller companies looking to fulfil the demand for waterjet cutting, KMT Waterjet Systems has introduced the Streamline SL-V Classic high pressure pump.
It is designed for work that requires a cutting pressure of 3600bar. The pump can be used independently or can communicate with the central control system of the cutting machine. The new model is compatible with all major waterjet cutting tables.
Designed for pure water and abrasive applications, it comes with Soft Start that can provide users with up to 20% energy savings when the pump is first switched on.
For a 37kW pump, only 63A start-up current is needed compared to 80A without Soft Start.
A Hard Seal End Cap topwork design is provided. Compact and lightweight, it has metal-to-metal seal and is said to be easier to service at minimum torque of 48Nm. More articles from KMT Waterjet Systems: |
