Affordable turning machines
March 1st 2006

A Colchester Tornado with seven axes heads up a count-down of six, three and two-axis machines said to provide a new level of productive capability solutions for multi-axis turning machines at affordable prices.

The new machines featured on the Colchester Lathe stand a will depict the re-generation of the Tornado marque to global markets.

And, with the latest development of the machine range, the exhibition will be used to show the company's move into turnkey projects.

Complementing the Tornado, Combi and MultiTurn machine ranges on show, Colchestersales will also be demonstrating the latest Richmond range of vertical machining centres. Leading the Tornado range will be the sevenaxis T6MS 'Lights-out' chucking orientated turning cell with the Colchester patented APL 5000 fully integrated autoload and unload system. Alongside the Tornado range will be the powerful Combi 6000 heavy duty combination lathe series.
