New features for saw March 1st 2005 The Kaltenbach KMR 100 AP high production circular saw enables customers to achieve fast, straight cutting cycles – less than 15sec total cycle time is claimed for a 70mm diameter bar.
Suitable for ferrous and non-ferrous materials, two optional features now provide greater efficiency.
An expanded bundle magazine has been added for material bundles from 2000 to 6000mm long, with a maximum bundle of 0.5m2 and load of 4t. It is said to offer unattended flexibility.
Also new, an extended output conveyor enables greater cut lengths of up to 1000mm. The unit has an integrated motorised table, with a lift-off device to push out components onto a storage rack with a length capacity of 800mm. Trim-cut lengths and remnants are separated via a chute to a cut-off and scrap container.
The KMR achieves its accurate straight cutting using either HSS or TCT, 370mm diameter blades.
Speed, accuracy and finish are helped by sawing stabilisers on both sides of the saw blade and horizontal clamping both sides of the cut.
Other features include: chip conveyor; atomised coolant system; and a CNC pusher and length stop measuring system. More articles from Kaltenbach Ltd: |
