Power vices
May 1st 2008 The MC range of workholding
vices, available from Kitagawa
Europe, combines high strength
workpiece clamping with a large
grip capacity.
Latest power vices range from
small manual units suitable for
tapping operations to integrated
in-line or cruciform models geared
to the needs of horizontal and
vertical machining centre work. Air
operated variants are available to
support automated or high speed
manufacturing operations.
All the vices are precision
machined for accuracy and
repeatability and have an anti-lift
device. This limits workpiece
movement in the z-direction to
