Speedy bandsaw

Kaltenbach has launched a high speed version of the Behringer HBM bandsaw range that provides high speed sawing and high performance for ferrous and nonferrous materials.

On-going development has achieved significant performance gains from the new Aluminium Package models, for sawing aluminium and non-ferrous metals, at cutting rates that are said to be faster than other bandsaws.

The HBM Aluminium Package has a blade velocity of 1300m/min and down-feed speeds in excess of 800mm/min.

The range comprises three models for different material capacities. These are now offered with high performance general cutting specification for ferrous and non-ferrous metals or with the Aluminium Package. The largest material capacity is 540 or 630mm wide by 540mm high.
