Staying cool

Air coolers at the Mokai II power generation plant in Israel will be powered by almost 100 18.5kW Brook Crompton motors.

The plant is being built by Ormat, an Israel-based manufacturer that specialises in power generation.

Brook Crompton was asked to tender as it had supplied motors to Ormat in the past.

For this order, all motors were 6- pole, EEx nA Zone 2, Temperature Class T3.
