Grinding consumables from Engis (UK) now include a wider range of state-of-theart abrasive wheels, including vitrified bond, metal bond, resin bond and electroplated wheels.

The vitrified bond wheels can be used for such tasks as camshaft grinding, CV joint grinding, injection nozzle internal grinding, PCD and PCBN grinding, bearing, gear, ceramic and cermet grinding. They offer good abrasion resistance and formholding capability, offer chemical stability with controllable stock removal rate and surface finish characteristics.

Engis also offers resin bonded wheels that can be designed for both wet and dry grinding modes, metallic bonded wheels, and electroplated bonded wheels.
