Cut oil use by 90%
January 1st 2004

EFD claims its MicroCoat lubrication system uses low volume low pressure air to apply lubricants more efficiently than pads, rollers and airless sprays. Field reports show the systems ability to apply lubricant as a fine film, instead of a heavy spray or stream, can reduce oil consumption by as much as 90%. The system is simple to install, and operates up to four valves. Individual flow controls for each valve provide instant response and allow lubrication to be fine tuned without stopping production. Once coverage is established, it stays consistent for the entire run, without further adjustment. Controlled application ensures complete coverage without mist, dripping or waste, and is said to reduce oil use and hazardous sludge.
