Dust-free July 1st 2004 Saint-Gobain Abrasives has launched new premium coated abrasive sanding discs as part of its Norton 2004 range. The discs use the companys dust extraction system the Multi Air Process.
Howard Prince, coated abrasives UK product manager, says The 181 ventilation holes allow complete dust extraction via a central air collection chamber, resulting in a reduction in airborne particles, cooler cutting, lower dirt counts and a smoother finish, as well as an improved working environment.
Nortons heat treated, premium aluminium oxide grain is said to provide a long lasting abrasive action that is able to sand larger areas faster. Disc replacement is swift, with eight of the holes specially aligned to enable easy attachment of replacement discs. |
